Ratification and deposit of instruments of ratification of the CETS 223 protocol

The Slovak Republic ratified the Protocol (CETS 223) amending the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Individuals with Automated Processing of Personal Data (ETS 108). On June 15, 2023, the ratification document was deposited by the Ambassador of the Permanent Mission of the Slovak Republic to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg with the Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe.

The Slovak Republic is the 25th country that ratified the CETS 223 protocol.

The Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Individuals with Automated Processing of Personal Data, modified by the amending protocol CETS 223, is referred to as the modernized Convention or Convention 108+.
